Ian Klein  is a writer and creative consultant with a career built on brand development, design, and navigating story. After acquiring his MFA in Dramaturgy from Columbia University School of the Arts, he moved through the creative agency world before founding his consultancy for franchise development and themed entertainment, Vizir Productions, in 2015.

Ian’s work in the theater and contributions to popular culture studies as both essayist and speaker established the foundation for much of what Vizir is today and a mutual appreciation for research, cinematic arts, and theme parks also helped forge a years-long friendship and collaboration with colleague Kj Swanson.

Ian has also served on several non-profit boards including those of The Trevor Project, Out & Equal Workplace Advocates, and the Themed Entertainment Association.
