Erica is a creative director, writer, and designer of stories that connect people and place. For over 20 years, she has crafted live theatre productions, play-based educational experiences, and themed attractions.

For the last 11 years, between working at Universal Creative and as a vendor, Erica has designed large-scale, physical interactive experiences for theme parks around the globe, including bringing stories to life where guests become a wizard in the Wizarding World, jump into a real-life video game in Thea Award winning Super Nintendo World, and prove they are the greatest villain of all time (maybe) in Minion Blast.

Erica is the co-owner of Alchemy Controls, Executive Creative Director for Valtech's Themed Entertainment Studio, and Editor-in-Chief of the Association of Interactive Performance Professionals’ journal. She has an MFA in Creative Writing and is named on multiple patents for her creative interactive experience designs. Erica captured her design process in the article "7 Principles for Creating Immersive Worlds."
